  Don't forget "For the Love Pete" Blood Drive in Memory of Peter Bonczewski, Junior.  Saturday July 26 at Saint Anthony's Maronite Church, 311 Park Avenue in Wilkes-Barre.  The Drive is from 8 am to 2 pm

  The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort is seeking sponsors and participants for the Third Annual Pocono Cupcake Challenge that will take place on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from noon to 3pm on the Grand Lawn of the resort.  All proceeds from the event will benefit the United Way of Monroe County.

The Honesdale Rotary club has new officers at the helm. Outgoing President Ken Doolittle handed over the gavel to Jordan Ubertini in an installation ceremony June 17th at Woodloch Springs in Hawley.
