The Greater Hazleton Y has a new program entitled, "The 18 Days on the Road to Sochi"; it runs until February 23rd. The object of this program three-fold:  Building support for Team USA as they follow their Olympic Dream; to encourage our member to seek and fulfill their own personal fitness goals and; we are supporting one of our employees, Bill Gerhard whose son, Chad, is currently in Sochi. as Strength and Conditioning Coach for the U.S. Snowboard Halfpipe and U.S. Aerial teams,

"Pink is the color of hope and that's exactly what the raised dollars are being used for," states Staci Ann Beers, co-founder of the Pocono Health Foundations' Hope for Strength Breast Cancer Fund.
