Great food, live entertainment and fun for everyone are on the menu for the annual La Festa Italiana to be held Saturday-Sunday-Monday of Labor Day weekend, August 30-31, September 1, 2014, on Courthouse Square in downtown Scranton. This is La Festa’s 39th year.
Funfest’s 2014 theme is “Down the Yellow Brick Road,” and event goers will have the chance to decorate a brick-shaped cookie as part of a new contest. Funfest is working with Giant Foods to present the “Decorate Your Own Yellow Brick Road Cookie Contest,” and children and adults will both have the opportunity to enter.
FUNFEST will be held September 6th and 7th in Hazleton
