Dog Wardens to do Door to Door Checks

(WBRE/WYOU-TV) Dog owners now is the time to get a license for your pet.
Dog wardens will start going door-to-door this month to check.
If they stop at your house and your dog does not have a license prepare you could face a 300 dollar fine per dog.
State Law requires all dogs, three months or older, to be licensed by January first of each year.
The fee is $6.50 for spayed and neutered dogs and $8.50 for other dogs.
The counties that will be canvassed this month are Bradford, Carbon, Luzerne, Lycoming, and Susquehanna.
The dog wardens will be canvassing the other counties through the end of summer.
