A corpse on a gurney slid out of the back of a Coroner's vehicle and onto a busy street in a South Eastern Pennsylvania community.
The body, which was covered and stayed strapped to the gurney, came to rest at an intersection in Feasterville. Cars drove around the gurney before it was placed back inside the coroner's vehicle and driven off.  Bucks County officials say a rear door of the 2002 Chevy Truck had a mechanical malfunction during the transport.  The coroner says
The truck now has bungee cords to secure the back hatch.

In a statement....The Bucks County Coroner's office says "They deeply regret this incident and will take the steps to ensure that it is not repeated in the future."
