The Old Forge Teachers union went on strike last September canceling classes for three weeks.
An 18-page arbitrator's report just released indicates the union's demands -"Particularly its salary increases" and "Refusal to accept cost sharing for health insurance" could "close the district and send its pupils to other districts outside the borough".
The school year in Old Forge is set to begin next Thursday.
The arbitration will become final and binding unless either side officially rejects it within ten days.
