Another Transit Company To Pay Fines in Ghost Rider Probe

Mount Carmel, Northumberland County- Another community has been slapped with fines for inflating transit system ridership.

  The Lower Anthracite Transportation System (LATS) in Northumberland has just been slapped with more than 260 thousand dollars in fines.
  Mount Carmel is in charge of the system.
  PennDOT is fining them after learning many of their riders didn't exist.
  The LATS routes will not change even though the money they have been ordered to pay PennDOT is more than 3/4 of their operating budget.
