Ah, the Memories! Popular Display to Re-Open

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) A unique view of the Electric City can be seen again this weekend. Miniature Memories is re- opening just in time for the 40th anniversary of the late Don Clark's H-O-Scale Masterpiece.

It has been more than seven months since the Electric City in Miniature has been opened to the public. In the fall of 2016 it moved locations in the Marketplace at Steamtown but getting it back up and operating has been a challenge.

While the trains won't be running right away--the late Don Clark's extensive miniature automobile collection will be on display.

Joe Shock of Don Clark's Miniature Memories told Eyewitness News "We're looking forward to June 10th, which is this coming Saturday to open finally on a very soft opening. We have a lot of work to do on the display. it's a continuing project, so all the train lovers out there know what it takes to put up a train display."

Miniature Memories will reopen this weekend, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
