Actress, TV Host Found Dead In Her Lackawanna County Pool

North Abington Township, Lackawanna County - The Lackawanna County Coroner has released the name of the woman found dead in her swimming pool on Friday.

According to the coroner, 59-year-old Lisa Marie Adalian died at her home in the Abingtons.

Friends say Adalian was an actress who loved to sing.

Eyewitness News was able to locate YouTube video of Lisa Marie Adalain hosting a show on WQPX called "Northeast Current".

Tim Rowland, the Lackawanna County Coroner, said Adakuab was found dead Friday morning in the swimming pool of her North Abington Township Home.

Jill Suda lives just down the street from Adalian on Manning Road. She said Adalian's death comes as a shock.

"It's just awful to hear," she said. "Even if I didn't know her I feel sorry for her family!"

Police haven't released much about what happened except that Adalian's death is suspicious.

Neighbors told Eyewitness News that Adalian is originally from West Scranton and she moved back here from California where she was an actress.

According to Adalian's Facebook page sShe had roles in daytime dramas like "One Life To Live" and movies.

In Lackawanna County Adalian sang at Corpus Christi Church in Montdale. That's where she met Sue Mazzoni.

"She was a beautiful person inside and out," Mazzoni said. "She had a beautiful voice! She liked to sing and she liked people."

Mazzoni said she got to know Adalian when she started organizing the church's rummage sale.

"She just had a flair for dramatics and decorating," Mazzoni said. "She was just a neat individual.

Mazzoni told Eyewitness News that Adalian loved her pool, which sits far off the road of her home.

"She was just a unique individual and very personable and friendly and loved people and to be around people."

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.
