Summer Road Projects with James May

Without propper planning, summer road projects can put a serious dent in your summer travel plans!

James May from PennDot is here to catch us up to speed on some new and ongoing construction zones you should be on the lookout for.  ey james!

**Interstate 81 north will be in a single lane pattern from Exit 191B to Exit 194 from July 17 to the end of the month. Ramp should be open by the end of August.  entire project done by fall.
**Main Ave. - on Thursday morning we will start paving a 5-mile section of Main Avenue in Scranton. (Parking ban will be in effect);    
Sugar Hollow Road (used by folks up at proctor and gamble) is scheduled to open in the next month. 
Suscon Road - on August 4, Suscon Road in Luzerne County will be closed for one week for a box culvert repair.
Broad Street, Hazleton - should be complete in the next few weeks. 
Blasting continues on SR 309 (There was an issue last week with all the sediment going on the road, and SR 309 closed for about 4 hours.
Pothole work continues; Keyser ave continues; and everything on I-81 continues so if we need more, just bring up any of these and i can talk until the 11 p.m. news comes on.
