Robin Deehan

WILKES-BARRE, PA - Robin Deehan joined WBRE/WYOU Eyewitness News as the weekend sports anchor and sports reporter in June 2016.

Robin was born and raised in the great state of New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from The College of New Jersey and Master’s degree in Broadcast & Digital Journalism at Syracuse University. While attending The College of New Jersey, Robin was a four-year member and captain of the nationally-ranked women's lacrosse team.

In between getting her degrees, Robin worked at CNN in New York City for more than three years in ad sales before deciding to make the jump into journalism. Prior to joining the Eyewitness sports department, she worked as a multimedia journalist at KLBK News in Lubbock, TX.

Robin is a proud Jersey girl and Bruce Springsteen fanatic. She loves travel, sports (especially the Syracuse Orange and Philadelphia Eagles) and meeting new people.

Robin dreams to be an international reporter covering the Olympics.
