Crystal Cranmore

WILKES-BARRE, PA - Crystal Cranmore joined the Eyewitness News team as a Multimedia Journalist in August 2015.

Previously, she served as a video journalist/reporter for Time Warner Cable News in Corning, N.Y. During her time there, Cranmore reported on several stories of local, regional and countrywide importance. In 2014, she contributed to national coverage of a fatal racing accident involving NASCAR driver Tony Stewart in upstate New York. In 2013, she was the only reporter to capture an exclusive, on-camera confession from a murder suspect after he was arraigned in Corning.

Before moving to upstate New York, Cranmore was a Digital Media Producer at the CBS owned and operated station in Philadelphia, KYW. In 2012, her web team earned an Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Online News Operation in the region. During that year, she was also accepted into the Knights Digital Media Fellowship at UC Berkley and the Kiplinger Fellowship for Public Affairs Journalism at Ohio State University.

Cranmore graduated from Howard University with a bachelor’s degree in print journalism. She was a 2008 recipient of the White House Correspondents’ Association scholarship.
