The Annual Ski for the Cure, breast cancer awareness day at Jack Frost was recently held. Over the years the event has grown. Each year many people gather at Jack Frost for a day of fun, skiing, awareness and fundraising. The day featured participants gathering on the top of the Lehigh trail and dedicating the run in memory of all those lives have lost to breast cancer and to honor survivors and those in treatment.
On March 8th, Organizers of "Ski for the Cure" presented Dolly Woody of Komen for the Cure NEPA with a check for more than $22,500. In its 7 year history "Ski for the Cure" has raised over $150,000 for the Komen NEPA that services 16 counties in our area.
