Hailed by the Wall Street Journal for their “wide appeal, subversive humor and first-rate playing,” Project Trio entertains audiences of all ages, combining classical chamber music with the stage presence of a rock stars.
The genre-defying group consists of Greg Pattillo on flute, Eric Stephenson on cello, and Pete Seymour on double bass. Founded in Boulder, Colo., in summer 2005, the trio got its break in 2006 when Pattillo’s Beatbox Flute video received millions of views in its first week on YouTube. They have since garnered international attention via their YouTube channel, which has more than 77 million views and 85,000 subscribers, making Project Trio one of the most watched instrumental ensembles on the Internet.
