NEPA American Advertising Awards

Posture Interactive took Best in Show for their Breaking Benjamin video campaign for Walt Disney Hollywood Records at the NEPA American Advertising Awards. The Scranton based interactive agency also took home the honor of People’s Choice after a live text vote at the event hosted by the American Advertising Federation of Northeast Pennsylvania (AAF NEPA) this past Saturday, March 3, 2018. Morgan Keyser, a student at Pennsylvania College of Technology received the Best in Show honor in the student division for her Fade to Black Beer Packaging. George Sweda of Sweda Advertising was presented with the Silver Medal Award- a lifetime achievement honor acknowledging outstanding contributions to advertising and furthering the industry’s standards, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern.

 

The annual dinner and awards presentation was held at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel and was attended by over 150 people representing every segment of the advertising industry in Northeast Pennsylvania. Of the close to two-hundred entries received from Stroudsburg to Williamsport, 10 gold ADDY Awards and 19 silver ADDY Awards were presented in the professional division and 6 gold ADDY Awards and 9 silver ADDY Awards in the student division. Entries were judged by a 5-judge panel for their creativity, originality, and strategy. Winners of the local competition will advance to a district level competition where their work will compete against agencies from New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Washington, DC. The final tier of the annual national competition will conclude this June in Chicago, IL.
