Memorial Pet Walk Set for May 31

Tracey's Hope Hospice Care Program and Rescue for
Domestic Animals, Inc. will hold their 6th Annual Memorial Pet Walk and Celebration of Life Event on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Scranton's McDade Park

Registration for the Walk will be at 10:00 am Rain or Shine. The cost is $25.00 per person to walk with a pet or in memory of a deceased pet.

 There will be a blessing of the animals by Fr. Gary Mensinger and

a balloon release honoring the pets that have passed in 2013.  Guest Speaker is Tammy Thayne, Smithfield, Virgina CEO and Founder of "Dogs Deserve Better"

 Entertainment will be provided by

Jerry Dreater DJ Productions, The Phyllis Hopkins Band, and The State Championship Cheerleaders from Pittston Area High School. There will be a Demonstration by Alan Finns Designing Dogs, A Kids Korner with games, prizes, a clown, facepainting, and a petting zoo, psychic readings, a basket auction, vendors and dogs for adoption.

There will be a variety of food and beverages available throughout the day and much more. Sponsors of this event are Cafe Rinaldi, Old Forge -
