Each week, you’ll find seasonal produce, meats, breads, baked goods and more. Vendors at The Cooperage Farmers’ Market must be located within a 50 mile radius of Honesdale. It’s a producer-only market, which means that everyone who is selling at the market grows, raises or makes their products. For an up-to-date list of participating farms and artisans please visit www.thecooperageproject.org.
New this season is the addition of a rotating “artisan” vendor. Each week, this stand will feature a local artist or craftsperson selling their handmade wares. “We wanted to keep things fresh,” says Pennell Whitney, Board Member at The Cooperage Project, “and give customers something different to look forward to each market.”
Returning this season is The Market Café. Shoppers can pick up a delicious and nutritious, farm to table brunch featuring seasonal and local products.
The winter market will open Saturday, November 9th and run every Saturday from 11:00am to 1:00pm through December 28th. Starting January 4th, the market will run every other Saturday, opposite the dates of the Callicoon Farmers’ Market in Sullivan County, NY.
