Coming in February at the Courtyard Theater

If the cold weather is giving you cabin fever, then the management of the Courtyard Theater in Selinsgrove suggests you watch George and Doris as they spend one weekend a year in a cabin in California? They agree to meet the "Same Time, Next Year".
Their love affair is intense, passionate, and takes place over 24 years with us observing them every 5. George and Doris have one little problem however; both are married to other people and have 6 kids between them. Although they are in love, they still love their other families, but passion and even sharing their families’ stories keeps them meeting every year. The extremely successful play was made into a movie that starred Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn. It is an unforgettable romantic comedy as the pair deal with their conflict of emotions, torn between their own passion for each other and the love of their real families. But the Broadway version is even fresher, more alive, and at times, a laugh-out-loud excursion into illicit love.

It's a play not to be missed. George (Matt Fulkerson) and Doris (Claire Brassard) are already veterans of the stage at the Courtyard Theater. Both appeared in starring roles in "Sweeney Todd", the theaters opening play last year. "Same Time, Next Year" is rated PG-17 for its theme and language.

As usual, tickets are only $15 and all seats are reserved. Call 570-374-0060 or go to the theater's website at for tickets which can be purchased through Ticketleap. Tickets are also available at the theater box office on the days of performance.

Performance days are Friday the 7th and 14th of February, Saturday the 8th & 15th, both at 7:00PM and two Sunday matinees, the 9th and 16th at 2 PM.
Get warm in the glow of their love!
