Comedian Jessica Kirson to Perform at The Comedy Palace - April 26th

Comedienne Jessica Kirson knows how to find humor in everything, especially herself, and she definitely knows how to bring her audience along for the hilarious ride.  She is at once raucous, edgy and downright side-splitting. No person, situation or thing is immune to her self-styled, razor-sharp sense of humor.

Temple Hesed of Scranton, PA will be hosting Ms. Kirson at The Comedy Palace on April 26, 2014 at the Temple, 1 Knox Road, Scranton, PA 18505. The event begins at 8 pm, with a cocktail hour starting at 7:30 pm..

Club bookers and audiences everywhere have been captivated by Ms. Kirson's scandalously funny humor. Her standup routine features a wide variety of characters, bringing a diverse energy to her never routine program.
Ms. Kirson was voted Best Female Comic by MAC Association in NYC and received Night Life Award as the Best Stand Up comedienne in NYC. She will be appearing in a new movie coming out in December 2014 with Nick Cannon and George Lopez.

Once you have seen her amazing talent, it is easy to understand why Ms. Kirson was selected to perform at the Hamptons, Toyota, Marshall's Women in Comedy, Comedy Central's South Beach and HBO's Las Vegas comedy festivals. She has been featured on various television shows including: "The View," Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" and "Fresh Faces," NBC's "Last Comic Standing" Seasons 2 and 3, NBC's "Last Call with Carson Daly" and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

In addition to Ms. Kirson, two other comedians, one a hometown favorite, will perform. Steve Leventhal, a Northeast, PA native, brings his unique style of humor to the stage. He has performed in countless comedy clubs, bars and private parties in the Northeast, including New York City. He is looking forward to returning to Northeast PA.
Joining Ms. Kirson and Mr. Leventhal will be Raquel D'Apice. A comedy writer and comedienne, she has written for Slate, Readers Digest and the Huffington Post. She performs regularly in comic clubs in the New York and New Jersey areas. She has a blog on the internet called "The Ugly Volvo."

General Admission tickets are $25 per person. A couple is $40. Patron tickets are $50 per person. All ticket prices include snacks and desserts and one beverage from the bar. Additional beverages of beer, wine and soda are available for purchase. Snacks, drinks and desserts will be available after the performance. Tables of eight can be reserved. All guests must be 21 years of age or older.
