On Thursday, June 19th at the Country Cupboard in Lewisburg, 28 Valley professionals graduated from a nine-month long leadership program, becoming part of an elite group of alumni, whose graduations date back to the first class in 1995.
Keynote speaker Kendra Aucker, Vice President/COO of Evangelical Community Hospital and Leadership Susquehanna Valley Class of 2002, spoke to the Class of 2014 about what it means to be a leader. By using her own experiences as an example, Kendra taught everyone how to be a gem in their community.
Angela Hummel of Evangelical Community Hospital and Leadership Susquehanna Valley Class of 2009 was presented with the Guy Temple Distinguished Leadership Award.
The ceremony was concluded with a reflection on the program year from Rob Swan of Kreamer Feed, Inc. Rob was nominated by his class to represent them on the LSV board of directors for the next three years.
The LSV Board of Directors would like to extend a huge thank you to NRG Controls North - located in Selinsgrove - who has faithfully stepped up for the last six years as the Premier Sponsor of the event.
