This event is free and open to the public.
5,000 eggs will be placed on Public Square and will be filled with candy and toys. Special prizes will also be given out in each age category ages 10 and under. Parents are asked to bring a camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Following the Egg Hunt, patrons will be asked to follow the “Bunny Trail” flyer.
Businesses in Downtown Wilkes-Barre will be participating in the festivities with their own Easter themed activities. Some examples are face painting and balloon animals in Midtown Village, storytelling at Barnes and Noble, egg dying at the Anthracite Newsstand, children’s activities at Dunkin Donuts and more.
