United Way Worldwide’s National Professional Council comprises 48 United Way CEOs in the U.S. and serves as a national leadership body for nearly 1,200 member United Way organizations, advising United Way Worldwide’s U.S. President and providing leadership in building the United Way system in the United States.

Keri Albright will serve a two-year term. “United Way’s mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities,” said Albright. “This is an opportunity for me to contribute even more to this effort not only on the local level but the national level as well.” Board Chair, Eric Rowe, adds, “We are very fortunate to have Keri as the CEO of the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way. Through her innovative and passionate leadership as well as her collaboration with the Board of Directors, this United Way has become a leader in providing measurable and lasting solutions to the social issues facing our region. On behalf of the BOD, I would like to congratulate Keri on this achievement and wish her the best with her work on the council.”
Keri Albright has been President & CEO of Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way since 2003. With the support of the governing Board of Directors, Albright has led the transformation of United Way to an organization focused on finding solutions to the most pressing social issues in the region by directing its volunteer and financial resources to initiatives that deliver positive results. She also oversees day to day operations and the annual fundraising campaign, and assists in organizing the activities of over 200 volunteers. Albright earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Communication Disorders, and a Master’s degree in Audiology from Bloomsburg University. Before joining United Way, she worked in high end retail management in New York City before returning to her hometown of Lewisburg in 2001.
Keri Albright’s involvement in the community includes volunteer, membership, or leadership roles with many local and regional organizations including the North Central PA Public Transportation Taskforce Executive Committee, Integral Yoga Center of PA Board of Directors, Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority Board of Directors, PA State Transportation Innovation Council’s Public Outreach Group, Sunbury Community Hospital Board of Trustees, is Coordinator of the six-county regional United Way group, and serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership Susquehanna Valley. Keri is a certified yoga teacher, and began a monthly book club for women in the Northumberland County Prison in 2010.
